Guess what this is?
It’s a new Prison in UK !
Prison vs Work
Just in case you ever get these two environments mixed up, this should make things a little bit clearer.
@ PRISON |
@ WORK |
You spend the majority of your time in a 10X10 cell |
You spend the majority of your time in an 6×6 cubicle/office |
You get three meals a day fully paid for |
You get a break for one meal and you have to pay for it |
You get time off for good behavior |
You get more work for good behavior |
The guard locks and unlocks all the doors for you |
You must often carry a security card and open all the doors for yourself |
You can watch TV and play games |
You could get fired for watching TV and playing games |
You get your own toilet |
You have to share the toilet with some people who pee on the seat |
They allow your family and friends to visit |
You aren’t even supposed to speak to your family |
All expenses are paid by the taxpayers with no work required |
You get to pay all your expenses to go to work, and they deduct taxes from your salary to pay for prisoners |
You spend most of your life inside bars wanting to get out |
You spend most of your time wanting to go out and get inside bars |
You must deal with sadistic wardens |
They are called managers |
|
|
|
Now get back to work. You’re not getting paid to check emails.

Galut (Exile) mentality might be tricking us into thinking that we are free to the point that even a prison can be mistaken for a desirable place to live! Our goal is to break out of this mindset, to have a “prison break”, and embrace Redemption consciousness as explained on our site http://honk4joy.com/naked-truth.php
So let’s start living and celebrating Redemption!
Brilliant insight! Also hilarious! great work!
Thanks, glad to be of service
Great analogy…But since we are already in geula’ why not leave goladike analogies and instead let’s live Geula by realising we are already living in a big endless vacation, in Eretz Isroel, as we are all picnicking on Har Hazeisim with abbundance of food and milk and honey flowing. We are being served by our many happy and eager servants who feel that by doing so they are living the Geula; everybody joins in, in a true spirit of Ahva VeReus and they thank us and Hashem profusely for having helped them open their eyes. We all learn Torah Chadasha’ from the Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach with not a worry in the world: parnassa’, health, strife, instead we dance and rejoice!! Who wants to come along?
Prisoners do not have to worry about the mundane. it is all taken care of by others. One can then think, read, talk, on ones hearts’ desire. It sounds like Shabbos, where one can dream. The problem is IT IS A PRISON. Get Out Now!!! Life in this world consists of the walls we put up ourselves. Sometimes even prison walls. Redemption however requires the effort to liberate oneself. That seams like hard work, let someone else do it for me. THAT IS THE REAL PRISON.
Here, here!
